Looking to the never-ending night sky

I stare at the stars and wonder why

I can't swim the channel of the winds' stairs

And navigate the diamond stars

Through the Milky Way and beyond Mars

Gliding through the light-filled spaces of heaven's lairs

Moving slowly with sights to see

Gathering knowledge from the powers that be

Bright-eyed and care free
