"Cranberry
Glades"
There's
a place in West Virginia
That
I call my "Heaven on Earth"
It hasn't changed in millions of years
Back in time, yet, annual new birth
As I walk the mile-long boardwalk
Built over a bog of years gone by
This different world is evident
And answers some reasons why
Is there not a place
Where past peace is close at hand?
In this place there is peace
And beauty made not by man
Envisioning the Garden of Eden
Like I sometimes do
Makes me think of purity
A place of only truth
The ice age came and went
And it left this place behind
Meat-eating plants and sites you'll never
see
Make Cranberry Glades one-of-a-kind
