"Focus"
The floors are trodden soil
Packed down by busy feet
No glass adorn the windows
Just hinged covers, nice and neat
No keys are needed for security
The only predator is the wild
A cougar here and there
Maybe a bear seeming mild
The stove has many purposes
Most of which are necessities
Food for your belly
Heat for cold nights
Hot water for washing comfortably
Nature's alarm clocks sing you from sleep
Their babies hungry for food
Spring mornings, always vivid with life
Never could there be a better mood
Civilization has come a long way
From our early beginnings indeed
Yet, still, it could be better
If we'd read the bible, every letter
And stay focused on the word "need"
